In a full crowded open-air theater, Tribute to Greek Folk Song in the first half of the 20th century: a flashback to the folk song of the early 20th century until the 1950s, performed by the Tompourlikas's band, 43 songs by Skaberlis, Papazoulou, Portokalis, Dalikas, Tountas, Vamvakeris, Hadzichristos, Chiotis, Tsitsanis, Mitsakis, Papaioannou, Ballis, Gavalas, Vaïnderlis, Bezos, Katsaros, Karras, Tzouanakos, Peristeris

 

 

 

 

Two events have particularly marked the Week dedicated to pianist, conductor and pedagogue George Hadjinikos:

 

First, in the Museum of Folk Art a piano and guitar recital given by

The second event, the most impressive and touching, was the piano recital given by the ninety year old master George Hadjinikos in an absolutely overcrowded Museum - and garden ! -, a really unique concert with compositions by Bach, Brahms, Chopin, Debussy and Skalkottas
